wrapped in the
amnion of spring’s
emerging hour
dark silence hovering
midst glow of
humble flame flickering
auras of visions imagined
bearing witness to
sempeternal legend
renewed in season’s
cycle
suffused in miracle
transcendent
defying witness and
presence willed or
imagined
sustained as flame
in faith and mystery
amorphic in form
and matter
to supplicant
unworthy of
proof or verification
