living flame
breathe the life
of your light
into my weary soul
cover me with
the warmth of
your gentle glow
lead me to
the center of
the flame that
has fled me
now as I
flounder and grapple
with remaining strength
ebbing from the core
unable to find
what has flown
from me
guide me to
the inner source
of light burning brighter
as it grows weaker
